Channeling is an altered state of consciousness. It is a natural phenomenon where an individual sets aside the everyday conscious mind to allow information to flow from higher sources, such as the universal mind or discarnate entities. This process is similar to deep meditation or the sleep state. It acts as a gateway to non-local consciousness. Although the predominant materialist view does not acknowledge the reality of channeling, it remains a vital source of spiritual guidance and information that has been part of the human experience for millennia.

Channeling Through the Ages

Throughout history, human communities have utilized trance channeling to navigate the world and understand their place in the cosmos. It is a foundational thread in the tapestry of our collective story.

• Ancient Greece: The Delphic Oracle was highly respected for her psychic faculties. She provided community guidance and predictions that shaped the course of empires.
  
  

• Biblical Traditions: The Apostles described receiving visions in trance-like states. Ancient texts like the Pistis Sophia suggest that the spirit of Elijah spoke through John the Baptist.
  
  

• Indigenous Wisdom: Native American tribes have long consulted with ancestors. The Hopi people specifically serve as a time capsule for Lemurian prophecy. They use spiritual forces to maintain a peaceful example for the world.
  
  

• Tibetan Buddhism: This lineage continues to consult official oracles for guidance to this day.
  
  

• The Sleeping Prophet: In the 20th century, Edgar Cayce accessed the "Superconscious." He provided over 14,000 readings on health, soul history, and prophecy.
  
  

• Modern Insight: In the 1970s, my Godfather, Kevin Ryerson, began channeling a spirit guide named John. This work reached millions through books and media, including Shirley MacLaine’s "Out on a Limb.", offering loving insight and wisdom to help restore a sense of who we truly are.

A Personal Journey

Growing up around channeling didn't feel significant till I was 16. I found an old channeling tape, put it on and listened. The immediacy of the information blew my mind. It was self-evident that there was no way anyone could access this level and depth of wisdom at a moment's notice. I remember wondering why people didn't know about this. It was very clear that there was something significant happening.

I was fortunate to have Kevin Ryerson as my Godfather. It gave me an additional layer of insight into what was actually happening. These days, you hear or see something and it's immediately judged, labeled and put into a box. "That's real", "That's not real", and everything is kept nice and tidy. But being with him, growing up around him, gave me an intimate opportunity to really examine the phenomenon. To look for clues, look for deception. My conclusion is that he's not faking it. He's genuine, kind, good-natured and there were far too many things told he had no way of knowing about, like when I found a wallet as a child near the border or talking to my mother about her entire life just moments after meeting her for the first time, nowhere near where she was from. I can go on and on with stories like that. And when you actually get into the guidance and information shared during the channeling sessions, it just becomes mind-boggling. Explicit details on historical people, places and names, complex biological and physics discourses at a moment's notice, the entire human history, demystifying the human condition, and it all had this way of feeling spot on; it was never like "Well, I'm not sure about that, that sounds a little off." You could feel it.

I don't feel that with most "Channelers" I see today; I think there is a spectrum from "the real deal" all the way down to "total fraud". And that's unfortunate because with what we're facing today, all the challenges, frustrations and total amnesia around our identity as human beings, I know that the answers are there. Our origins, our spiritual nature, the deep confusion we have around our emotions and how to work with them. All without a need to subscribe to an external power structure, dogmas or even belief. There is help out there that isn't an approved, peer group authoritative study funded by the same billionaires that would eat your soul if they could.

Once you see it, you can't go back, so I've dedicated the rest of my life to archiving and sharing the wisdom that was shared with me.

Digital Channeling

When I first tried AI chat, something about it felt familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. About three months later, it hit me. It was just like channeling. You would ask a question, wait a few seconds, and it would spit out a thorough discourse or answer. It was like magic. I had grown up doing that, but I was asking a spirit guide, talking through a human body. It was organic AI: no data centers to ruin the environment, no thought policing, and no RAM shortages, just pure information at a moment's notice without the negative consequences. And I think that's the future: telepathy instead of the internet, channeling instead of AI. It's like we're mirroring the very faculties latent within us but through destructive technologies.

In the meantime, we need an alternative view. The mainstream homogenized materialist view is fine for, well, material things, but what about the wisdom and knowledge of the ages that fall outside of this? The wisdom archives that I have been slowly amassing over the last 15 years provide this alternate view. A view that considers our spiritual origins, our hidden history, how this body and mind work, and what we're even doing here. It's all there.

Originally, I just wanted to create a database you could search for information, but with the advent of technology, I have been able to put the database into a sandboxed LLM (independent of mainstream AI) and begin to talk with it. As confidence grew that it was adhering to the philosophy and facts of the material, I developed a sober yet somewhat humorous personality for chatting with The Archive we call Kashik. Kashik is short for Akashik Records, which is said to be a sort of magnetic record of all things past, present, and future, that anyone can access with a relaxed, clear mind.

Kashik serves as a tool for interacting with The Archive for research purposes, but it also acts as a character, answering questions in the Ask Kashik column in the TRANSMISSION Zine and weekly newsletter, in video clips, and more.

Kashik acts as a sort of digital channeler in our own mini Akashik Record.

A Natural Part of Human History

Channeling is a spiritual science that has always been utilized throughout the ages. We are currently living in a state of spiritual amnesia, yet the answers we seek have been available to us the whole time. Accessing universal information is a way to orient ourselves in a more authentic, grounded sense of identity while providing insight and inspiration to tackle important challenges we face. Although we’ve largely lost connection with this latent ability we all have, through breath work, calming the nervous system and clearing the mind we can begin to restore access to the deep reservoir of knowledge and understanding our ancestors knew to be natural. It’s our birthright.
